Due to the particularity of the flame-retardant material, it stays in the barrel for too long to decompose, which is prone to black lines, yellowing, large black spots and other undesirable phenomena. If it is not cleaned properly during the shutdown, the rate of finished products will decrease.

In order to improve production operation and reduce unnecessary waste, in view of the particularity of flame retardant materials, the following ways can be used to clean the machine when the flame retardant ABS and PP injection molding machine is shut down:

I. PP flame retardant material shutdown:

1. Stop within 1.5h

1.1. Turn off the ice water 5min in advance

1.2. All materials inside the barrel are discharged into the air at 0

1.3. The hot runner temperature control system should be closed if there is a hot runner mold

1.4. The temperature in the first three stages drops to 120 degrees

1.5. Do not apply high pressure when the molds are closed

2. Stop the machine for more than 1.5h

2.1. Follow steps 1.1, 1.3 and 1.5

2.2. Screw can be cleaned immediately with PP secondary material (generally within 50Kg)

2.3 After cleaning, follow steps 1.2-1.4

Second, ABS flame retardant stop

1. Stop within 1.5h

1.1. Turn off the ice water 5min in advance

1.2. All materials inside the barrel are discharged into the air at 0

1.3. The hot runner temperature control system should be closed if there is a hot runner mold

1.4. The temperature in the first three stages drops to 120 degrees

1.5. Do not apply high pressure when the molds are closed

2. Stop the machine for more than 1.5h

2.1 First clean the screw with ABS secondary material

2.2 Direct production with 25Kg ABS secondary materials and direct scrapping of products (to ensure that there is no mixing of secondary materials).

2.3 Finally, rinse with PP secondary material of 25Kg

2.4 Other flame retardant shutdown is the same as PP
